Password change bypass via spoofed authentication provider

Incorrect authorization in Mattermost 10.11.0 through 10.11.10 allows remote authenticated users to change an account password without confirmation. The account authentication-type switch accepts a falsely asserted alternate provider without validating the user's existing authentication method before permitting a password change. Exploitation requires access to the network endpoint and a crafted provider-switch flow, and the documented consequence is unauthorized password modification rather than data disclosure or service interruption.
