CVE-2026-22536

Local privilege escalation via unrestricted sudoers entry

Published Jan 7, 2026 · Updated Jan 7, 2026

Privilege escalation in Efacec QC 60/90/120 version 8 allows local users to execute unrestricted commands with root privileges. A sudoers entry for the maintenance user omits permission restrictions, so sudo authorizes commands without limiting the permitted command set. Access to that local maintenance account is required; the published record withholds the account name and access path, while successful use grants full control of the charger.
