Authenticated SSRF via external entity resolution
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
XXE in Pentaho Data Integration and Analytics before 10.2.0.7 and 11.0.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to trigger SSRF. Certain XML parsers resolve external entities declared in an attacker-supplied DTD and issue outbound requests to entity URIs. Low-privileged network access is required; resulting server-side requests can reach otherwise inaccessible services, bypass firewall restrictions, or conduct port scanning.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.0 <11.0.0
- Affected versionversion=1.0 <10.2.0.7
