Subscriber-level administrative actions via unchecked AJAX handler
Published Jan 8, 2026 · Updated Jan 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Nawawi Jamili Docket Cache 24.07.04 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to invoke administrative cache actions. The wp_ajax_docket_worker AJAX handler accepts a nonce and action type but omits the manage_options or manage_network_options capability check. Subscriber-level credentials and a valid nonce are required; the public proof of concept invokes the flush action to clear caches.
