Credential disclosure via overprivileged SQL editor
Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026
Incorrect privilege assignment in Mesalvo Meona allows remote authenticated users to export user data through its SQL editor. The privilege model exposes the administrative SQL interface with common stored procedures enabled, letting its users query cleartext passwords and other user records outside application logging. Exploitation requires a high-privileged Meona account, and the same interface can initiate NTLM relay activity as well as disclose credentials.
