RCE via abandoned unsigned update domain
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Remote code execution in Ozols Grupa OZOLS before 1.1.1233 allows remote attackers to run code via the abandoned auto-update domain. The OzolsSQL update path, the _update SQL Server Agent ActiveScripting job, and serv_update.vbs fetch Vers.txt, archives, and even arj.exe over cleartext HTTP from its2.lv, then trust only a version number before invoking the downloaded content with WScript.Shell.Run or xp_cmdshell. No foothold or user action is required beyond control of the lapsed domain; code reaches the database server as the SQL Server service account and then propagates through the sprg table to attached workstations.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
