Denial of service in Node.js Undici before 6.24.0 and 7.0.0 through versions before 7.24.0 allows remote attackers to terminate client processes. isValidClientWindowBits accepts any all-digit server_max_window_bits value, and createInflateRaw throws an uncaught RangeError for values outside 8–15. Exploitation requires the client to connect to an attacker-controlled WebSocket server that negotiates permessage-deflate and then sends a compressed frame; the reported consequence is an immediate Node.js process crash.
