Use of default credentials in Dell ObjectScale before 4.2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to gain elevated OS privileges. OS node-user accounts can retain documented default passwords rather than deployment-specific secrets. Network access and a low-privileged account are required; successful use grants elevated operating-system privileges.
