Authenticated browser script execution via unencoded firstname rendering
Published Feb 9, 2026 · Updated Feb 9, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Code Projects Online Reviewer System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in browsers. The administrator user-management handler stores the firstname POST parameter without sanitizing or output encoding and later renders it as executable markup. A valid session and administrator user-management access are required to plant the payload, and a victim must view the stored value before browser-session actions become possible.
