Stored XSS via unescaped custom CSS
Published Mar 13, 2026 · Updated Mar 13, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in gVectors Team wpDiscuz before 7.6.47 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in browsers. The customCss setting is emitted inside a style element without neutralizing an attacker-supplied closing style tag, so following script markup enters the page DOM. Administrator access to the WordPress settings panel is required, and the injected script runs when visitors load affected pages.
