OAuth secret disclosure via unredacted options export
Published Mar 13, 2026 · Updated Mar 13, 2026
Information disclosure in gVectors Team wpDiscuz before 7.6.47 allows attackers to read OAuth secrets from exported JSON options. The Tools options-export path serializes social-login settings, including fbAppSecret, googleClientSecret, and twitterAppSecret, without redaction. An administrator must first create and expose the file through a support ticket, backup, or repository; possession reveals configured social-login credentials.
