Unauthenticated vote manipulation via nonce and header rotation
Published Mar 13, 2026 · Updated Mar 13, 2026
Vote manipulation in gVectors Team wpDiscuz before 7.6.47 allows remote attackers to alter comment vote totals through unauthenticated requests. The reported flow obtains fresh nonces from wpdGetNonce and evades rate limiting by rotating User-Agent, IP, or trusted-proxy headers. The current CNA record no longer associates wpDiscuz with this identifier, so the historical product claim is unsupported.
