CVE-2026-22188Public exploit

Application crash via unbounded argument stack allocation

Published Jan 7, 2026 · Updated Jan 7, 2026

Denial of service in Panda3D deploy-stub 1.10.16 and earlier allows local users to crash packaged applications via excessive arguments. The executable sizes alloca() buffers for argv_copy and argv_copy2 directly from unvalidated argc and passes uninitialized stack data into Python initialization. A local user or process must supply an unusually large argument list; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash and undefined behavior.
