Unauthorized messages via empty BlueBubbles allowlist
Published Mar 18, 2026 · Updated Mar 18, 2026
Incorrect authorization in OpenClaw before 2026.2.22 allows remote attackers to send direct messages through the optional BlueBubbles plugin. The isAllowedParsedChatSender helper returned true for an empty effective allowFrom list, so unknown senders passed pairing or allowlist checks for messages and reactions. Exploitation requires an externally reachable BlueBubbles account identifier; accepted content enters the agent message-handling path.
