Cleartext credential transmission in Tenda F3 firmware allows attackers to capture administrator credentials from web management traffic. The web-based administrative interface sends credentials encoded only with reversible Base64, allowing captured values to be decoded rather than protecting them in transit. Network access to the same segment is required; successful interception exposes sensitive information and enables unauthorized device access.
