CVE-2026-22079

Credential interception via plaintext setup login

Published Jan 9, 2026 · Updated Jan 9, 2026

Cleartext credential transmission in Tenda F3 firmware allows attackers to capture administrator logins over the local network. The initial-login and post-factory-reset setup paths in the web administrative interface transmit supplied login credentials without transport encryption. Exploitation requires a position on the same network and exposes credentials that permit unauthorized device administration.
