Unauthorized action execution via unvalidated document POSTs
Published Jan 10, 2026 · Updated Jan 10, 2026
CSRF in React Router before 7.12.0 and Remix server runtime before 2.17.3 allows remote attackers to execute UI route actions. Document POST processing invokes server-side route actions or React Server Actions without validating the request origin. A victim must submit the cross-origin request, and only Framework Mode action handlers or unstable RSC mode are exposed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=react-router >= 7.0.0, < 7.12.0
- Affected versionversion=@remix-run/router < 2.17.3
