Uncontrolled resource consumption in JSSE allows remote attackers to interrupt affected Oracle Java and GraalVM services over HTTPS. Oracle has not disclosed the faulty JSSE operation or the HTTPS input that triggers excessive resource use. Reachability requires an application that passes attacker-controlled HTTPS data to JSSE APIs, and exploitation causes only a partial service interruption.
