Authenticated read access to database data
Published Apr 21, 2026 · Updated Apr 21, 2026
Information disclosure in MySQL Server allows remote authenticated users to read a subset of database data through the MySQL protocol. The flaw is in the Server: Information Schema component, but Oracle has not published the affected operation or how it mishandles a request. Exploitation requires network access and a high-privilege account; Oracle documents only unauthorized reads of a subset of accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.0.0 <=8.0.45
- Affected versionversion=8.4.0 <=8.4.8
- Affected versionversion=9.0.0 <=9.6.0
