Authenticated server hang or repeatable crash
Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026
Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server Thread Pooling allows remote authenticated users to hang or repeatedly crash affected servers. Oracle identifies the Thread Pooling component but has not disclosed the faulty operation or the input that triggers it. Affected releases are 8.0.0 through 8.0.44, 8.4.0 through 8.4.7, and 9.0.0 through 9.5.0; exploitation requires high-privilege network access and affects availability only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
