CVE-2026-21932Network attack vector

Sandbox escape through undisclosed AWT and JavaFX flaw

Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026

An input-validation flaw in Oracle Java SE and GraalVM AWT and JavaFX allows remote attackers to modify critical accessible data. Oracle has not disclosed the affected function or how AWT or JavaFX mishandles untrusted input beyond identifying those components. Exploitation requires user interaction and a client deployment that runs untrusted applet or Java Web Start code inside the Java sandbox; trusted-code server deployments are not affected.
