Authenticated data modification and disclosure
Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026
Oracle APEX Sample Applications 23.2.0, 23.2.1, 24.1.0, 24.2.0, and 24.2.1 allow remote authenticated users to read or modify data via HTTP. Oracle identifies the affected locus as the Brookstrut Sample App but has not published the flawed operation or untrusted input that triggers it. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and interaction by another person; the documented consequence is limited to reading, inserting, updating, or deleting some application-accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
