Authenticated code execution via unchecked QoS copy
Published Feb 8, 2026 · Updated Feb 8, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda RX3 16.03.13.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted QoS list. The set_qosMib_list function copies the list parameter with strcpy into the 256-byte qos_str stack buffer without checking its length. Low-privileged access to the web management endpoint is required; an oversized delimited value can crash httpd or overwrite its return address for code execution.
