Authenticated code execution via unchecked binding list
Published Feb 8, 2026 · Updated Feb 8, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda RX3 16.03.13.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via an oversized binding list. The fromSetIpMacBind function copies the user-controlled list parameter with strcpy into a 128-byte stack buffer without checking its length. Low-privileged web-management access is required; successful exploitation can run code as root or crash the httpd process.
