Authenticated HTML injection via indirect prompt injection
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
HTML injection in HCL AION 2.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to display injected markup through indirect prompt injection. HCL states that indirectly injected prompt content reaches rendered output as HTML, but it has not identified the affected interface or published the sanitization failure. A low-privileged network session is required; HCL reports displayed markup and has not described code execution or service interruption.
