Missing authentication rate limiting in HCL Hive 1.0 allows remote attackers to gain unauthorized account access through repeated login requests. HCL has not identified the affected authentication endpoint or published its request-handling logic; the disclosed defect is failure to restrict excessive authentication attempts. No privileges or user interaction are required, and successful password guessing or credential reuse grants unauthorized account access.
