Resource exhaustion in Node.js 20, 22, 24, and 25 HTTP/2 servers allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted frames. Connection-level WINDOW_UPDATE frames that overflow the 2³¹-1 flow-control limit trigger GOAWAY, but the Http2Session object remains allocated. Unauthenticated network access to an HTTP/2 server is sufficient; repeated sessions retain memory until server resources are exhausted.
