CVE-2026-21688Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Client-side undefined behavior via overflowing stack counts

Published Jan 7, 2026 · Updated Jan 7, 2026

Type confusion in iccDEV before 2.3.1.2 allows remote attackers to trigger undefined behavior through a crafted ICC color profile. SIccCalcOp::ArgsPushed() multiplies calculator argument counts in an int without limiting the result to the maximum data-stack size, allowing signed overflow and an invalid stack count. Exploitation requires a user or consuming application to process the supplied profile; the demonstrated artifact produces sanitizer errors and parsing failure.
