Root command execution via unfiltered Ipaddr parameter
Published Feb 8, 2026 · Updated Feb 8, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK WA300 5.2cu.7112_B20190227 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands with root privileges. setAPNetwork in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi reads Ipaddr through websGetVar and directly concatenates the unfiltered value into a system command. Low-privilege access to the web management endpoint is required, after which injected shell characters can read, alter, or disrupt the device.
