CVE-2026-21669Network attack vector

Authenticated remote code execution on backup server

Published Mar 12, 2026 · Updated Mar 12, 2026

Code injection in Veeam Backup & Replication 13.0.0.4967 through 13.0.1.1071 allows remote authenticated users to execute code on the backup server. Veeam has not published the affected function, input path, or code-generation operation that accepts untrusted data. Exploitation requires an authenticated domain account and reaches the Windows-based backup server, where arbitrary code execution can compromise backup operations and protected data.
