Unauthorized WiFi AutoLink use via adoption-state bypass
Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026
Improper access control in Ubiquiti UniFi Connect EV Station Lite 1.5.2 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to use WiFi AutoLink. The WiFi AutoLink access-control path accepts a Wi-Fi-range actor even when the station was adopted only through Ethernet. Exploitation requires Wi-Fi proximity and the Ethernet-only adoption state; the vendor has not disclosed what information AutoLink exposes.
