Content disclosure and service interruption via XXE
Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
XML external entity injection in Atlassian Crowd Data Center 7.1.0 through 7.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to access content. Atlassian has not disclosed which XML parser or request path resolves attacker-controlled external entities, or how the XML reaches that parser. Exploitation requires authenticated high-privilege access and additional conditions; successful requests read local or remote content and can interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
