Unauthenticated remote modem service interruption
Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026
Improper input validation in Unisoc T8100/T9100/T8200/T8300 modems on Android 13–16 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. Unisoc has not disclosed the modem input, parser, message type, or validation error that reaches the denial-of-service condition. The network path requires no privileges or user interaction, and the published impact is limited to modem availability rather than data access or code execution.
