Authenticated arbitrary file upload via avatar endpoint
Published Feb 8, 2026 · Updated Feb 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Yshopmall 1.9.0 through 1.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to upload arbitrary files through an avatar API. The /api/users/updateAvatar handler accepts an attacker-controlled File argument through co.yixiang.utils.FileUtil without enforcing an allowed image type. A low-privilege account is required; the public record confirms arbitrary file upload but does not establish code execution.
