CVE-2026-21425

Local privilege escalation

Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026

Incorrect privilege assignment in Dell PowerScale OneFS before 9.10.1.6 and 9.11.0.0 through 9.12.0.1 allows local users to elevate privileges. Dell identifies the defect only as incorrect privilege assignment and has not disclosed the affected component or the operation that assigns excessive privileges. Exploitation requires existing low-privileged local access, high attack complexity, and user interaction, and can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
