Authenticated code execution via unchecked deviceList copy
Published Feb 8, 2026 · Updated Feb 8, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda TX9 22.03.02.10_multi allows remote authenticated users to crash the router or execute code. The setMacFilterCfg handler passes the user-controlled deviceList value through sub_4223E0 to strcpy without checking its length, overflowing stack buffer v15. Low-privilege access to the management endpoint is required; successful exploitation can interrupt routing or compromise the appliance.
