Application interruption via incorrect buffer element size

Heap-based buffer overflow in Intel Open VKL before 2.0.2 allows local users to interrupt a calling application during device-to-host copying. The copyDeviceBufferToHost routine uses the wrong element size when copying a device buffer into host memory, overrunning the heap allocation. The attack requires low-privileged authenticated local access and no user interaction, with impact confined to the affected Ring 3 application.
