Session takeover via stored form-field scripts
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Stored XSS in Adobe Commerce 2.4.9-alpha3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to hijack sessions through crafted form fields. Adobe identifies stored scripts in vulnerable form fields but has not published the field names or the code path that fails to neutralize the content. Low-privileged access is sufficient, and execution requires a victim to open the affected page; successful exploitation compromises the victim's session confidentiality and integrity.
