Session takeover via stored form-field scripts
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Stored XSS in affected Adobe Commerce 2.4.x releases allows remote authenticated users with admin privileges to take over browser sessions. Adobe identifies vulnerable form fields but has not disclosed which fields or the code path that stores and later renders their content without neutralizing scripts. An administrator must inject the script, and another user must browse to the affected page; successful execution exposes that victim's session to takeover.
