Pending comment deletion via missing nonce verification
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Web Guy Dam Spam 1.0.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete all pending comments via a forged request. The cleanup page's pending-comment deletion action processes the request without verifying a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to follow a crafted link or perform an equivalent attacker-induced action, and the reported consequence is deletion of pending comments.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
