Improper input validation in Samsung Mobile Devices running Android 14 through 17 allows local users to write out-of-bounds memory. The subtitle-frame loader in libsubextractor.so fails to validate frame data before writing it beyond the intended memory bounds. Triggering requires local access and passive user interaction; the resulting memory corruption affects the vulnerable device only.
