Out-of-bounds write in the MPEG4 codec in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Aug-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to corrupt memory. The codec in libsavsvc.so inadequately validates MPEG4 input before processing it, permitting a write beyond an intended memory boundary. Local access is required; Samsung has not disclosed the malformed field, affected buffer, or whether the corruption enables code execution.
