Out-of-bounds write in libpadm.so on Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Jul-2026 Release 1 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The library writes beyond an intended memory buffer because of an incorrect implementation, but Samsung has not disclosed the affected function, input path, or faulty operation. The attack requires low local privileges and no user interaction on affected Android 14, 15, or 16 devices, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code in the vulnerable process context.
