CVE-2026-21033

Local script execution via unprotected exported receiver

Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026

Improper component export in Samsung Assistant before 9.3.14 allows local users to execute arbitrary scripts through ExpressHomeWidgetReceiver. The receiver is exposed to other Android applications without the access control needed to restrict invocation of its script-executing behavior. A malicious application on the same Android device can trigger the receiver without user interaction, resulting in script execution within Samsung Assistant's context.
