CVE-2026-21002

Arbitrary app installation via improper signature verification

Published Mar 16, 2026 · Updated Mar 16, 2026

Improper signature verification in Samsung Galaxy Store before 4.6.03.8 allows local users to install arbitrary applications. The application-installation path accepts a package despite incorrectly verifying its cryptographic signature; Samsung has not disclosed the responsible function or validation error. Local access and an additional attack condition are required, and exploitation compromises installed-software integrity without reported data disclosure or service interruption.
