Improper authorization in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Mar-2026 Release 1 allows local users to alter background-data controls. The Settings component accepts a request to disable configuration of an application's background data usage without verifying the caller's authority. Low-privilege local access is required, and the published impact is limited to unauthorized changes to that application's data-usage configuration.
