A race condition in Microsoft Windows Management Services allows local authenticated users to elevate privileges on affected systems. Microsoft identifies unsynchronized concurrent access to a shared resource but has not disclosed the resource, code path, or faulty interleaving. Exploitation requires existing low-privileged local access and a successful race, after which the management-service security boundary is crossed with elevated privileges.
