CVE-2026-20909Network attack vector

Tracked-time disclosure via missing repository permission checks

Published Jul 3, 2026 · Updated Jul 3, 2026

Improper access control in Gitea before 1.25.5 allows remote authenticated users to read tracked-time entries from inaccessible repositories. ToTrackedTimeList converted every database result into an API object without verifying that the requester could read the entry's issue or pull request repository. An account using a tracked-time listing route can receive issue metadata and time records for repositories that account cannot otherwise read.
