Private issue-title disclosure via stale notification authorization
Published Jan 22, 2026 · Updated Jan 22, 2026
Information disclosure in Gitea 1.25.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read private issue and pull request titles. The ToNotificationThread converter returned repository data with a synthetic read permission instead of checking the caller's current repository permission. A previously authorized user must retain an old notification after collaborator access is revoked; exposure is limited to notification-linked repository metadata.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
