Authenticated command execution via unneutralized password parameter
Published Feb 7, 2026 · Updated Feb 7, 2026
Command injection in UTT HiPER 810 1.7.4-141218 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands through passwd1. The setSysAdm handler for /goform/formUser passes the administrator-password parameter to a command context without neutralizing command syntax. Administrative authentication is required; successful injection runs commands with the web management process's privileges and can affect router data, configuration, and service availability.
